The complete rules governing Kumtech Gateway's permanent referral commission program.
Policy summary: Anyone may refer a new client to Kumtech Gateway. When the referred client qualifies under this policy and successfully pays Kumtech for an eligible service, the referrer earns a commission equal to 10% of the qualifying Kumtech service fee.
This policy establishes Kumtech Gateway’s permanent referral commission programme. Its purpose is to reward people who introduce genuine new clients while keeping referral payments transparent, sustainable, and tied to revenue actually received by Kumtech.
The referral programme is open to clients, former clients, partners, friends, community members, promoters, and other members of the public.
A person may not claim commission for referring themselves or for a project in which they are the paying client or direct project owner.
Kumtech may refuse referrals that appear fraudulent, misleading, abusive, or otherwise unsuitable.
The referred client must be new to Kumtech Gateway and must not already be in active discussion, negotiation, quotation, onboarding, or an existing client relationship with Kumtech.
The referrer must be identified when the lead first contacts Kumtech, or before Kumtech begins active sales discussions with that lead.
Referral claims cannot normally be added retroactively after a client is already in Kumtech’s pipeline.
Commission rate: 10% of the qualifying Kumtech service fee actually paid by the referred client.
If Kumtech gives the client a discount, the commission is calculated on the final discounted service fee actually paid.
For one-off projects, the 10% applies to the eligible project service fee received by Kumtech.
For recurring services, including Social Media Management, the 10% applies to the first paid month only unless a separate written referral arrangement states otherwise.
Referral commission is calculated only on Kumtech’s eligible service fee. Unless expressly included in writing, the following are excluded:
Domain names, hosting, cloud infrastructure, software subscriptions, licences, plugins, and other third-party technology costs.
Printing, production, delivery, advertising spend, media budgets, photography or talent fees paid to third parties, and other pass-through expenses.
Taxes, statutory charges, refunds, credits, reimbursements, and amounts Kumtech collects solely on behalf of another provider.
Commission is earned only after Kumtech has successfully received the qualifying client payment.
No commission is payable on unpaid, cancelled, refunded, fraudulent, reversed, or disputed amounts.
Where a project is paid in instalments, Kumtech may calculate and release the referral commission after the qualifying project payment has been fully received, unless Kumtech confirms another arrangement in writing.
Once eligibility is confirmed and the qualifying payment has cleared, Kumtech will normally process the referral payment within 7 business days.
The referrer should provide enough information for Kumtech to match the referral to the correct client, such as the client’s name, business name, phone number, or email address.
Kumtech’s internal client and referral records will be used to determine whether a referral was received first and whether the client was already in the sales pipeline.
If two people claim the same referral, Kumtech will review the available records and recognise the person whose qualifying referral can be reasonably verified first.
A referral does not guarantee that Kumtech will accept the client or project.
All referred clients remain subject to Kumtech’s normal discovery, scope, pricing, contract, payment, and project-acceptance processes.
Referrers are not authorised to promise prices, discounts, timelines, deliverables, or contractual terms on behalf of Kumtech unless Kumtech has expressly authorised them to do so.
Referrers must represent Kumtech truthfully and must not use misleading claims, spam, impersonation, fake leads, or pressure tactics.
Kumtech may withhold or cancel a commission where there is reasonable evidence of fraud, manipulation, duplicate claims, misrepresentation, or abuse of the programme.
This is a permanent Kumtech Gateway policy, but Kumtech may revise its administrative rules when necessary to protect the programme, comply with applicable requirements, or improve operations. Any material change to the 10% commission structure will apply prospectively and should be documented in a new policy version.
